Fight your frizz for what???????????

The Advance Techniques Frizz Control Lotus Shield claims to stop frizz for 3 whole days...
I tried it ya'll and guess what?
I don't know if it blocked it for 3 days or maybe I have very unruly hair but that part was a disappointment.
When I received my package in the mail and I opened it, I saw that it came boxed up in a tiny little cardboard jewelry box looking box and I was very shocked at the fact that it was a tiny little bottle (didn't pay attention to read what size it was)
But yeah, I paid a bit too much in my opinion for this little gem. I mean it smells very very nice but I honestly don't feel it did anything different than other brands i've tried in the past. I do have very frizzy hair though so, then again it might be might hair doesn't want to be tamed. Someday, I will post pictures of the madness that is my cabello.

Eyes; for all the better to see with..

The 12-in-1 eyeshadow palette for AVON was on sale not too long ago and I decided to give it a try, here are the swatches for them:

As you can see, some of the lighter colors are better pigmented than some others.
The burgundy and black which are supposed to be darker weren't as pigmented as the others. The color was very hard to get on my skin. I wasn't too happy with that. On the other hand all the other colors were beautiful! So I guess 9 out of 12 ain' bad right? :) For less than $10? Um heck yes!! I do have to suggest you use a good base for this before applying eyeshadow. The Anew liquid eyeshadow works great as a base, prevents creasing and makes the makeup easy to blend.

For Ashy Larry hands:

As a stay at home mom I wash a lot of dishes.
My hands dry up so much they sometimes even peel!! (gross, I know)
When I started selling Avon I knew I had to order one of their hand creams ASAP since they were on sale! So I ordered the Moisture therapy Hand cream in Vitamin Treatment. I got it for less than $3, the size of the container is actually pretty reasonable, compared to Eucerin or Gold Bond of a comparable size.
As soon as I started using it I felt a difference and it actually helped my skin a lot. Now I keep it downstairs next to the kitchen sink and I make sure to use it everytime my hands touch water and soap. It's a very thick creamy lotion so if you happen to rewash your hands for some reason right after applying this it will come off, it needs some time to really get into your skin to do its job. It's kind of like a mask. It is extremely moisturizing and the smell is very subtle and clean. It also with other ingredients!
As you can see by the creases on the bottle I am almost due for a refill :)

Ultra Color Rich Mega impact lipstick

In Pinktastic!

I love love love this color so much,
its so bright and such a happy color.
I do have to be honest with you though, I bought it because I wanted a replacement for my M.A.C "Show orchid" and it is not exactly the same. Although the price is waaaaay lower than a M.A.C lipstick, less than triple the price, Show Orchid has cooler undertones while "Pinktastic" has warmer undertones. It is still a wonderful fun color to wear. In comparison to the regular Ultra Color Rich Lipsticks its a little thicker, heavier. Not more moisturizing though. I'm not crazy about how it might cake up if you apply too much, but that's just my opinion :),so be careful when applying (one or two coats will be enough). I love it nonetheless!
I highly recommend making sure your lips are completely exfoliated before applying as it will bring out any and all chapp-ey situations you may have going on your puckers. If you are somehow unsure on how to exfoliate your lips or are in a rush and need a quick exfo, just brush your lips!
Yep, just brush em and that'll do it for ya!
